A major focus of Mason Hill is to provide respite visits, retreats
and programs for people in the care giving professions, including
medical professionals, pastors and spiritual leaders, therapists,
counselors, mentors and personal caregivers. It provides a peaceful
and productive setting for healers from a variety of disciplines, and
is used by caregivers throughout the Berkshire community and
surrounding area.
One of the
features most beloved by visitors and conference goers at Mason Hill
is Kitchen Brook, an ice-cold stream created by a spring
high on Mt. Greylock, from which it descends through the property
to Cheshire Lake. Along its banks at Mason Hill are numerous benches and
comfortable spots for resting, reading or just "getting away from
business" and reflecting on the events of the day.
