Welcome to Mason Hill
Mason Hill is located in north Berkshire County in the town of Cheshire in an unspoiled, old Berkshire up-country setting.
Long known for its authentic old Berkshire atmosphere and its proximity to the Appalachian Trail, Mason Hill is a favorite spot for people with a love of New England rural life and the outdoors.
Its boundaries encompass 10 acres of rolling fields and woodlands, and historic Kitchen Brook Gorge, through which the sparkling water flows on its way down from Mt. Greylock to Cheshire Lake.
A Vacation Get-Away for the Family
Here guests can enjoy an out-of-the-ordinary vacation experience in the Mason family renovated barn which includes a large family room, modern, fully equipped kitchen, and complete bathroom facilities (tub and shower.) Other features of the Barn Home include a large master bedroom with a queen sized, country, four-poster bed with TempurPedic mattress and an extensive library of over 1,000 volumes. This bedroom also houses a bunk bed and cozy reading nook.
In addition, Mason Hill offers an array of inspiring outdoor spaces including two rustic sleeping cabins, a large fire pit for evening gatherings, and two quiet “thinking benches” overlooking the brook. For many guests Mason Hill is a place where they get to explore their own passions and inner creativity, and to do their favorite things.
Berkshire Living at its Finest
The Barn Home boasts two large decks that provide expansive views of the Berkshires and make an ideal setting for outdoor dining and activities. An enclosed Cedar outdoor shower enables guests to enjoy private bathing in the Berkshire sunlight. An automatic washer and dryer are provided for guest use.
